The Emir of Fufore, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Ribadu, has described the the newly appointed Magatakarda of
the council Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas as philanthropist who contributed positively towards uplifting the standard of living of many less privilege people in various communities.
The royal father made this known Saturday during a thank you visit by the new Magatakarda Fufore emirate from friends, family and well wishers led by an elder statesman Alhaji Idris HammanAdama Uba held at his residence.
While presenting the appointment letter to Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas said he is a blessing not only to his community but the state at large, hence the need for bringing him closer to his emirate.
Sani Ribadu while appreciating the delegation for the solidarity to one of their own, he charged Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas to discharge his duties with absolute dignity, patience and fear of God for the overall development of Fufore emirate and Adamawa State at large.
Speaking earlier the leader of the delegation Alhaji Idris HammanAdama Uba said he believe that the Emir has done the real choice by appointing Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas whome he described as dedicated, honest, sincere and hard working proud son of Uba community.

Suleiman Yahya Njidda, who lauded the Emir of Fufore for putting a round peg in a round hole, said the installation was not only important to friends, family and well wishers of new Magatakarda Fufore but to the people of Adamawa state.
The district head who is a close associate to Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas said, he believe that the new Magatakarda is equal to the task because he is such a person that put the interest of people above his own personal interest
Speaking shortly after receiving his appointment letter, Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas appreciated the Emir for finding him worthy of wearing the title of First Magatakarda to Fufore Emirate Council.
He promised to abide by the culture and traditions of the institution, as well as assuring to positively contribute his best to the emirate and pledged his unalloyed loyalty to the emir, praying to God to enable him succeed in the tasks ahead.
“By the grace of the Almighty Allah, we will do what will push the emirate, Adamawa state and the country at large forward.” Iya Abbas said.
Dignitaries who accompanied the new Magatakarda Fufore Emirate includes; Majikira Adamawa Alhaji Muhammad Awwal Sani, Former speaker and member representing Yola South constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa, former members representing Uba/Gaya, Mayo Belwa and Yola North constituencies Hon. Mustapha Maigari, Hon. Ibrahim Musa Italiya and Hon. Hamidu Sajoh Lekki among other captains of industries, business moguls and political class.
