YOLA SOUTH LAWMAKER MIJINYAWA CONSTRUCTS 5TH CLINIC IN CONSTITUENCY

The member representing Yola South constituency at the Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa, has performed the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a clinic in Walowol Gugu Saminaka of Namtari ward in Yola South local government.

The component of the 8th bed capacity clinic include patients wards, delivery room, doctors’ office, laboratory, nurse office and station, medical store among others.

Speaking while laying the foundation for the construction of the Walowol Gugu in Saminaka, Namtari ward in Yola South LGA, on Wednesday, Mijinyawa, appreciated the inhabitants for their support to him.

Rt. Hon. Kabiru, told them that the project is in fulfillment of his promise to the community in particular, saying that he would have since embarked on the construction of the clinic but due to litigations which took him about 9 months.

He assured that the project will be completed and commissioned very soon, and pledged to also reach out to other political wards in his constituency.

The former speaker promised that he will do his part as a legislator to lobby for the construction of drainages, roads, employment of youth among others, and pledged to continue in provoding better representation.

In his remarks earlier, the Chairman of the APC Yola South LGA, Ahmadu Muhammed Bingel, commended the lawmaker for prioritising the welfare of his constituents.

Bingel, said that the Hon. Member had demonstrated that health is the wealth of the immediate need of his electorate, and called on the electorate to rally round him to enable him provide quality stewardship.

Also speaking, the Organising Secretary Yola South, Hon. Husseini Ahmadu Har, described the lawmaker as a man of his words and applauded him for providing the dividends of democracy to his electorate.

Hon. Husseini Har, used the opportunity and called on the youth to be security conscious, not to engage themselves in crime as well as not to habour criminals.

In his goodwill message on behalf of the Ward Heads, Usman Bello, thanked the lawmaker for embarking on the construction of people oriented project and pledged their unalloyed support to him.

Baring his mind, the Chairman Hunters Association, Yahaya Abubakar, appealed to the legislator to fix their patrol vehicle to enable them continue in complementing other security agencies in providing security and appreciated the effort of the legislator.

Several other personalities who spoke at the event including Salihu Bello Dalhatu, Daulan Jihar Adamawa, Chairman One -Vote Ambassadors, Alhaji Ali Meteku among others, praised the Hon. Member for the giant stride.
