The UK Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence in the ability of the new National Chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda to unite the party.
A delegation of the UK Chapter, led on a courtesy call to the chairman in Abuja by its Secretary, Chief Momoh Obaro told the chairman his emergence is timely.
Obaro said, “We believe that under your stewardship, the party will witness renewed unity, strengthened internal democracy, and a clear strategic direction.”
Obaro who was on the delegation with Mr. Bernard Doro (UK chapter Financial Secretary), Dr. CAL Amayo (Welfare Secretary), and Mrs. Abimbola Fasanu (Deputy Treasurer), further told the APC national chairman, “The APC UK Chapter stands ready to support your vision and work collaboratively towards the continued growth and success of the party at all levels.”
According to Obaro, Yilwatda’s wealth of experience, proven leadership, and unwavering commitment to progressive ideals come at a critical time for the APC and the nation.
Obaro expressed confidence in Professor Yilwatda’s ability to usher in a new era of internal cohesion and strategic focus within the APC, and pledged the UK chapter’s continued support and readiness to collaborate with the national leadership in advancing the party’s goals both at home and abroad.
In his remark, Professor Yilwatda appreciated the visit and commended the APC UK Chapter for their sustained engagement and loyalty to the party from the diaspora.
He assured the UK chapter of an inclusive leadership approach and continued collaboration with all APC chapters abroad.
