The Chairman Adamawa State Board of Internal Revenue, Alhaji HammanAdama Njabari has described the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on a petition filed by Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Candidate Dr. Umar Ardo at the Adamawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Yola, as well-deserved for democracy and the good people of State.
The Internal Revenue Boss, In a congratulatory message on behalf of Management and the entire staff of the AIRS, said the Tribunal verdict confirms the yearnings of the people of Adamawa State that Fintiri is the preferred leader to reset the state on the path of greatness.
According to the message, the resounding victory of Fintiri the “FRESH AIR” Governor has refreshed all and sundry in the state, adding that the outcome would enhance a better governed Adamawa State that everyone will be proud of.
He added that the victory is for the people of Adamawa State who are yearning for good governance which the government of PDP is pursuing and urged others to accept the ruling in good faith and support the government of Umaru Fintiri.
The Chairman said the interest of the state should be paramount in the heart of all.
He also appeal to Governor Fintiri to see himself as a man of destiny and he should always remember that God gives power to whoever he wishes and he should remain focus and deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of Adamawa State.
While reaffirming the commitment of the AIRS in boosting the revenue generation of the state he called on all stakeholders to join hands with the government of Ahmadu Fintiri for the betterment of generality of Adamawa people as power belongs to Almighty Allah.
