The senator representing Adamawa central senatorial district, distinguished senator Aminu Iya Abbas has congratulated the newly appointed Emirs and Chiefs in Adamawa state by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri
In a congratulatory message issued by his Yola media office, senator Iya Abbas rejoiced with HRH Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu the Emir of Fufore, HRH Barrister Alheri B. Nyako, the Tol Huba, HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga Mbege Ka Michika,
HRH Dr Ali Danburam Ptil Madagali and HRH Aggrey Ali Kumu of Gombi.
Others congratulated by the senator are HRH Ahmadu Saibaru Emir of Maiha and HRH John Dio Gubo Yungur who were appointed with Second and Third Class of Office as Traditional Rulers in the state.
According to the statement, “ Senator Aminu Iya Abbas send his heartfelt congratulations to the Seven (7) Monarchs on their appointment as Traditional Rulers.
“He wished them a successful reign on the throne with excellent accomplishments for their subjects.
The senator also appealed to the people of Madagali, Michika, Huba, Maiha, Gombi, Yungur and Fufore traditional councils to support the monarchs in order to sustain the existing peaceful co-existence in their respective communities.
