The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas, has announced plans to embark on free medical services in 7 LGAs.
The services will cover Fufore, Girei, Yola North, Yola South, Song, Gombi and Hong LGAs which comprise Adamawa Central Senatorial District.
Senator Abbas, disclosed this during his tour in Fufore and Girei LGAs, where he had meeting with PDP LGA officials, elders, party supporters, youth, women, groups and other stakeholders.
During the meeting, the Senator doled out N20million to the stakeholders in Fufore and Girei LGAs and reviewed his performance since assumption of office as well as unveiled his plans on how to continue to impact positively in the lives of his electorate.
In his remarks at the meeting, Senator Iya Abbas, announced that he will soon embark on free medical intervention for the benefit of his electorate, saying that the exercise will commence in Gombi before Girei and Fufore LGAs respectively.
According to him, the exercise will cover the remaining LGAs, and charged his stakeholders to ensure that every political ward is accorded equal opportunity during the exercise.
He briefed the meeting on his effort in building bridges for good governance and fostering innovations, boosting agriculture, education, youth and women empowerment, bills and motions sponsored and constituency engagement among others.
