The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has saluted workers in the state for their commitment and dedication to their duties.
He also commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for running a workers friendly administration and recent opening for online application to employ more civil servants into the state workforce
Senator Iya Abbas, in a message to Adamawa workers on Thursday through his media office in Yola, to marked the 2025 Workers Day, acknowledged that they deserved a special commendation.
The Senator then asked the workers to continue to support the Fintiri -led administration, which has shown commitment to workers welfare, timely implementation of National Minimum Wage.
Iya Abbas further saluted the Governor for continued offsetting of outstanding gratuities of pensioners among others which reinforced confidence in the people of Adamawa state.
He said that the state had witnessed tremendous changes in the areas of infrastructures, Basic Healthcare Facilities, Educational and Human Capital Development among other laudable policies and programs.
