Senator Aminu Iya Abbas representing Adamawa central senatorial district at the National Assembly has mourned the passing of Babangida Sa’ad Damilu, a PDP Youth Leader of Bako Ward, and his Yola South Local Government Coordinator during the 2023 senatorial campaign.
Iya Abbas in a condolence message through his media office in Yola described Damilu as a committed grassroot mobilizer, trusted team member.
According to him late Damilu plays significant role for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2023 electioneering campaign and ensures his victory as senator representing Adamawa central district in the National Assembly.
While condoling the immediate and extended family of the deceased, the PDP leadership and Council Chairman Yola South local government, his political associates and friends, Senator Abbas prayed that God Almighty will grant him Aljannatul Firdausi and fortitude to the families to bear the irreparable loss.
“As we mourn this irreplaceable loss, we pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) in His infinite mercy forgive his shortcomings, accept his righteous deeds, and grant him a peaceful rest in Jannatul Firdausi.”
“On behalf of all well-wishers, colleagues, and the wider political family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, and the entire PDP structure in Yola South and beyond.” He said.
