The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas has mourned the death of Adamawa Rising Politician Mr Thomas Godwin (Zamfara) who was tragically killed by unknown person(s)
Senator Iya Abbas who doubles as Chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology, in a condolence message issued on Wednesday through his media office in Yola, described the Late Thomas Zamfara as a grassroots mobilizer.
According to him late Zamfara plays significant role for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2023 electioneering campaign and ensures his victory as senator representing Adamawa central district in the national assembly.
Iya Abbas who expressed shocked on the tragic incident, urged relevant security agencies to lunch full investigation and bring perpetrators of the act to book.
While condoling the immediate and extended family of the deceased, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Council Chairman Hong local government, his political associates and friends, Senator Abbas prayed that God Almighty will gives the departed eternal rest and fortitude to the families to bear the irreparable loss
