Adamawa Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has tasked citizens to safeguard state infrastructure to sustain government policies and projects.
Speaking Saturday at the Banquet Hall of the Government House Yola during a socio-political interaction organized by Dr Victor Dogo, Principal Special Assistant to Governor Fintiri on social Mobilization, the deputy Governor said,
“It gladdens my heart that we are here today to celebrate the name of the man who has changed the name of Adamawa to gold.
“It also gladdens my heart that as Adamawa citizens, we have seen and appreciated the development of the state
” As citizens our responsibility is to ensure, we protect government infrastructures. I also want to remind us that the governor has policies of infrastructure at heart.
“As followers of our leader (Gov Fintiri), we would do what he asks us to do as the surest way to victory as citizens of the state”.
Earlier, Dogo in his remark said Governor Ahmadu Fintiri would continue to live up to his reputation as a leader through his laudable projects.
He stated that the governor has transformed the state from a previously underdeveloped region into a thriving environment for business and socio-political development.
He said, “Governor Fintiri’s vision and dedication have resulted in an impressive array of projects, programs, and policies.
“These include the revitalization of the civil service, extensive infrastructure development, social empowerment schemes, the Fintiri Wallet, student scholarships, free education initiatives, housing estates, healthcare facilities, and an interconnected network of local government roads.
“Notably, the construction of world-class interconnecting flyovers and interchanges—the first of their kind in Northeast Nigeria—stands as a testament to his forward-thinking approach.
“The projects and programs are not just immediate solutions but are designed to meet future needs, ensuring a lasting legacy.
“They embody quality and foresight, promising to serve our children and generations to come”.
