The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has commended the Chairman of the Adamawa State Board of Internal Revenue, Alhaji Hamman Adama Njabari, for his outstanding leadership and contribution to boosting the state’s revenue profile.
In a commendation letter, the NUJ leadership praised Njabari’s professional expertise, commitment, determination, transparency, and accountability, which have led to a significant increase in the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from ₦6.2 billion in 2019 to ₦16.6 billion in 2024.
The union congratulated Njabari and his management team for this remarkable achievement, urging them to sustain the momentum in the years ahead.
The letter was signed by Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim, Chairman of NUJ Adamawa State Council, and Comrade Kissinger Bukar, Secretary.
