At the House of Reps, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti La’ori proposed two amendments bill to the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
The Honorable member representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal Consttiency proposed amendments which passed first reading Tuesday, seeking to improve the welfare, peace and security of all Nigerians, also aims to promote order and good governance in the country.
The lawmaker called on his constituents and Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing Constitutional amendment, to ensure their voice is heard.
He stressed that beside commissioning life impacting projects, human capital development and youth empowerment, the need to improve on extant laws of the land to accommodate new challenges in human society is also crucial.
He further maintained that as people representative, he would not relent in his primary responsibility of making laws that bring democracy dividends to his esteemed constituents and the nation, hence the proposed amendments.
