In a heartwarming gesture, the senator representing Adamawa central senatorial district, Aminu Iya Abbas has paid a visit to Adamawa State pilgrims staying in their hotels in Makkah to congratulate them on their successful completion of the 2025 Hajj rites.

During the visit, the Senator Gifted 50 SR to each of the 1,035 Adamawa Pilgrims which is equivalent to Fifty One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty (51,750) Saudi Riyals and Twenty Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N22,252,500).

Speaking while presenting the cash to the beneficiaries, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas said the gesture is to assist them with their transport upon arrival in Nigeria.

He expressed his joy in identifying with their spiritual journey and emphasized his duty to support them.

He urged the pilgrims to pray for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Adamawa State, and Nigeria at large, wishing for peace, progress, and development across the nation.

The pilgrims, visibly grateful, appreciated the Senator’s generosity and support, describing it as a source of encouragement and a reminder of solidarity from their leader.

This gesture has been widely praised as a commendable act of compassion and community service.
