GANYE–JADA–MBULO ROAD: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

News

The general public is hereby informed that the Ganye–Jada–Mbulo Road in question is a state road, not a federal road.Contrary to recent claims, the Adamawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has already initiated plans for its construction.

The project’s construction was reemphasized by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri during the bye-election flag-off campaign, where he assured the people that the project is already underway. For clarity, Eighteenth Engineering Company (EEC) International Ltd was dispatched from the State Ministry of Works and Energy Development as far back as May 9, 2025 to inspect the road ahead of the construction works.

However, to the dismay of many, the APC in Adamawa is attempting to use this road to score cheap political propaganda. They have mobilised fake engineers to site and announced—without proof—that the project is to the tune of ₦20 billion, when ordinarily the costing of the project should not be more than ₦7–₦8 billion.
This raises serious questions:When did the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approve ₦20 billion for this road? What is the name of the company purportedly awarded the contract? Who are the consultants?
Too many questions, no credible answers—only a political charade.
One must also ask: Why the Ganye–Jada–Mbulo Road, which belongs to the state, while critical federal roads in Adamawa remain in deplorable condition? Roads like Yola–Mubi, Numan–Jalingo, and Lafiya–Lamurde (Savannah) have either been abandoned or left incomplete, posing daily danger to motorists.
The record speaks for itself.

In Ganye alone, Governor Fintiri’s Fresh Air Administration has:Completed the Ganye–Sangansumi Road,Rehabilitated Ganye General Hospital,Constructed a water treatment plant providing potable water to residents.

The Ganye–Jada–Mbulo Road is simply another in a long list of projects driven by the governor’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, not an opportunity for political showmanship.
The people of Ganye should not be carried away by the planned political jamboree on Thursday.

The truth is, the road project is already in motion under the state government, and the facts are there for all to see.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has a track record of keeping promises. Can the same be said of the APC in Adamawa? What project of significance has the federal government initiated in this state in recent years, why the sudden interest now?

Let the APC keep deceiving themselves, while we continue to interact with the electorate unit by unit, ward by ward, taking our message directly to the people.
The facts are clear and the people can see through the noise. While the APC clings to deception and empty theatrics, the PDP under Governor Fintiri is on the ground, delivering real projects, touching real lives, and fulfilling real promises.
From roads to hospitals, from clean water to community development, the Fresh Air Administration has shown what leadership looks like.

The APC may rent crowds and stage charades, but governance is not a photoshoot,it is action, and PDP is the action.
Ganye knows the truth. Jada knows the truth. Mbulo knows the truth. Adamawa knows the truth. And come the hour of decision, the people will choose progress over propaganda, performance over pretense, and light over darkness.

No matter the noise, Ganye stands with PDP.
