The immediate past Secretary to Adamawa State Government, Malam Bashiru Ahmad, has extended his congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his victory at the governorship tribunal.
Ahmad conveyed this message in statement made available to this platform, emphasizing the importance of this victory for Adamawa People.
He praised Governor Fintiri for his dedication to the democratic process and the residents of Adamawa State.
He said “Congratulations to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, his deputy and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on the victory in the Governorship Tribunal judgment!.
“This is a significant win for the Adamawa People and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
“Your commitment to the democratic process and the people of Adamawa State is truly commendable. Wishing you continued success in serving the community and the state.”
Ahmad added that, “every well meaning citizen, regardless of party or religious affiliation, should now join hands with the government for the sustained development of the State as time is of the essence and citizens are eager to see progress.”
The Adamawa State Governorship Election Tribunal, on Saturday, dismissed the petition filed by Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani of the All Progressives Congress (APC), challenging Governor Umaru Fntiri’s election victory.
The members of tribunal, led by T. O Ulohu, upheld Fintiri’s win in the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election.
