The Fintri Media Block, a media support group of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, has appointed Senator Aminu Iya Abbas (Adamawa Central Senatorial District) as its patron.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Miracle Musa in a letter to the Senator who was the immediate past Speaker of Adamawa State and current Chairman, Senate Committee on Science,Technology and Innovation.
The development was revealed in a statement issued by Special Assistant Media and Public Affairs to the Senator, Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, on Monday.
According the statement, the decision to appoint the senator as patron was the unanimous Executive Council decision of the Fintiri Media Block based on merit and track record.
“FIntiri Media Block is the largest and most influential social media group in the state that brings together promoters of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and the PDP-led administration with the aim of promoting peace, harmony and social development,” the block stated.
