Adamawa Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has presented relief materials
to the victims of the recent inferno in Karewa Extension
The intervention which is on behalf of the state government is to cushion the effect of the destruction caused by the fire outbreak.
The Deputy Governor, epresented by the Director Administration in her office Hauwa Ali Banu, expressed concern over the development, urging the victims to keep hope alive.
Banu thanked God that no life was lost to the fire incident.
The victim Absalom Dilli and Tony Agada both appreciated the gesture from the state government.
It could be called that the inferno engulfed the victim’s house destroying properties worth millions of naira at Karewa extension on Tuesday.
Narrating his ordeal to the Deputy Governor’s Press Crew, Dilli said, though no life was lost to the inferno, said the fire was notice by his daughter.
He added that, the daughter who was trapped in the rest room in the building hard a loud noise resulting into flames.
According to him, the fire could be attributed to suspected electricity fault.
“The fire disaster, which gutted the house no life was lost, but all the property in the house was destroyed.
“It took me time to rescue my trapped daughter from the fire”.he added.
