Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has commended Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his support and presence during the Bwatiye festival.
Addressing representatives of Pene DA Bwatiye at her residence on Sunday, Farauta appreciated her principal over his gesture.
“I thank my principal Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his support and physical presence at the Bwatiye festival.
“As a people, we do not take that for granted, we are very very grateful.
“Our prayers for the Governor, government and all sons of Bwatiye is that peace of God would continue to reign in our land.
“I thank my people for the honour done to me and my husband
“I appreciated Pene DA Bwatiye for this distinctive treatment today and we do not take it for granted
“This honour goes back to God, we are not worthy to share in God’s glory.
“I called on my people for next time, when we have reason have an event, we woud organise it more elaborate” she added.
The President Pene DA Bwatiye, Mr James Iliya ask the group to be vanguard of championing unity of purpose for others to emulate.
The chairman of the organising committee, Professor Ambrose Alikidon Voh stressed the need to fostering love and unity among Bwatiye people.
Chief Joel Masaki in his remarks, noted that the festival has strengthened unity of purpose among the Bwatiye people.

The Bwatiye festival 2025 drew participants across Basapwa, Voti, Njiya Cameroon, Gabon and Central Africa.
