The American University of Nigeria (AUN) has announced 136% increament in 2024 as compared to 2023.
A statement by Yusuf Mohammed, Senior Director, Public Affairs of the institution said the enrollment went up by over 27% of the target.
“As we reflect with pride on the perseverance and commitment of the admissions team in attaining this record-breaking enrolment, we remain grateful to the University leadership for propelling and supporting us in implementing our strategic plan to reach this milestone.
“The admissions department’s zeal and determination to break new enrollment heights has just begun,” said Mr. Murtala Balteh, Director of Admission
The AUN President, Dr. DeWayne Frazier, took a proactive approach to promote the significance of American-style liberal arts education, which places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, inclusivity, diverse opportunities, and the practical application of knowledge in real-world scenarios.
In addition, the presence of the US embassy’s American Window at the University further reinforces these values and has further boosted the momentum of enrollment.
