Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has assured of political will to partner National Centre for Technology Management (NACTEM) to tackle food crisis in the state
Kaletapwa Farauta gave the assurance Friday, saying government prioritized agriculture to engage people to improve food security of the state and the nation.
“I am glad you people are coming at the time, when Adamawa is making agriculture a priority.
She pointed out that government is sustaining peace in the state by providing people with what to do through the skill acquisition centres in the state
“For you to have sustained peace people must have something to do and become productive to themselves.
In his remarks, Director General NACTEM Dr. Olusola Odusanya said the agency under federal ministry of science, technology and innovation is saddled to foster technology driven policy of the federal government in different sectors of human endeavor.
Odusanya reitrated the agency’s readiness to offer technology driven service for the state
He said apart technological solution to assist in agricultural and economic activities
the centre also carries out policy research and review.
According to him, they place emphasis on science and technology development, engage in vocational training to give people global scientification.
