Christians have been tasked to change their perception toward politics and leadership for that are the calling of God.
Deputy governor professor Kaletapwa Farauta was speaking at the annual State and fire conference 2025, organized by the Nigeria Christian corpers fellowship, Adamawa state chapter.
The conference tagged “the emergence of kingdom ambassadors”, was held at the Freedom power chapel international Jimeta-Yola.
Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta dwelt on a topic; “Leadership and Youth in politics”.
She explained that leadership is about decision making, taking responsibility, initiatives among others, stressing that everybody is a leader based on the gifting of God.
The deputy governor cautioned Christians against hypocrisy, encouraging them to lead with all sense of faithfulness and sincerity in any position God places them.
Professor Farauta advised them to venture into active politics with the view of raising the generation of righteous leaders, adding that to elect, select and appoint a leader is Biblical.
She urged the congregation to use their God’s gift to mentor and lead people into the place of God.
There was a launching of the Bible study manual during the conference.
