Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa has advocated for unity and tolerance for the overall development of the state and the nation
Farauta who spoke on Saturday during the activities marking the 2025 annual wrestling kwete festival in Lamurde, said, “The message from his Excellency Rt Hon Ahmadu Fintiri is that he appreciates us for support all times. He urged the Bachama people to make sure the rainy season is well utilized. While we embark on farming we should ensure we live in peace with our neighbors round about us, because without peace there would be no development.”
The deputy governor enjoined the Bachama people to embrace PAWECA program for skill acquisition training.
“In the present generation we need skills to add to our qualifications,” she said, advising them to make good use of their youthful age and engage in things that can foster peace and development.
She reemphasized government’s zero tolerance to anything capable of undermining the safety, peace, security, welfare and well-being of the masses.
In his remarks Hama Bachama paramount ruler, Homun Dr. Daniel Ismaila Shaga attributed development and unity to peaceful coexistence where justice is seen to be dispensed accordingly without segregation.
He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for being a peace and development champion, describing him as a blessing to the people of the state in view of his glaring commitment to right the wrongs in the state.
The Bachama Monarch reminded both Bachama youths and those from other backgrounds of their strengths amd thr need for them to be advocates for social change, peace promotion and unity drivers and not allow themselves to be influenced wrongly into unlawful behaviors.
