Adamawa Dep Gov Votes In Numan in Ongoing Local Govt Election

Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, has given her vote at Fada Polling unit 001word 3 Numan in the ongoing
local government election across the state.

Farauta while monitoring the election in the area appreciated youths, stakeholders and security personnel for the peaceful conduct of the election.

Expressing her confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would emerge victorious at the end of the election, she said, “I am impressed with the peaceful conduct generally.”

Speaking to journalists after casting her vote, she said, “The election is peaceful, people are exercising their franchise without hinderence. Am glad that people are aware there is need for them to vote, because this election produces leaders close to them.”

She also commended security agents for ensuring peaceful and orderly process.

The tenure of council chairmen ended in December 2023 when administrative power was handed over to the the DPMs in the 21 LGAs.
