Adamawa Dep Gov Urges Women To Fit InTo God’s Purpose

Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has admonished women to be useful and fit into the fulfilment of God’s purpose in their lives by being humble and cheerful giver.

Farauta spoke while delivering a sermon at the special church service organised at the Chaplain of the Government House Yola sunday.

The unique church service is dedicated to celebrate women and their contribution in the church and humanity

Farauta who doubles as the Guest Preacher at the service, said God would show mercy if people turn around despite their shortcomings.

The Deputy Governor In her sermon titled “Beautiful Dorcas”, explained that one must be useful and fit for purpose of Hod to be called beautiful.

She cited several scriptures in the Bible, emphasizing the importance of availing themselves as women, to be beautiful for Jesus just like Dorcas in the Bible.

The preacher reminded them to uphold humility, patience, modesty, contentment, compassion, peace loving, quiet spirit and calmness among other good works as demonstrated by Dorcas.

She also tasked them on arms giving, adding that fulfilling the purpose of God in their lives depend on how beautiful they are in doing His will.

“Fulfilling the purpose of God for my life determines how beautiful am l, she asserted

“When last you have reached out to the neighbourhood with arms, let find out” she urged the congregation.

The church service was ministered by leader Dr Mrs Roma Tosan Amoruwa which highlighted presentations from women groups.##
