Adamawa Dep Gov Says Yakubu Tsalla’s Demise a Monumental Loss

Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has described the death of Yakubu Tsala as a monumental loss to Adamawa and Nigeria at large

Speaking on behalf of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and other cabinet members at the funeral service held at the Church of Brethren EYN state low cost Jimeta Yola, Farauta eulogized the deceased as God fearing and man of peace.

She urged his family and associates to take solace in God at all times.

Former Governor Boni Haruna one of the deceased contemporary, pointed out that his years of interaction with the deceased were based on mutual respect

He described late Tsalla whom they bonded on cherished value as his elder brother whose counseling was most invaluable. Boni asserted

The Postor the church, Rev Moses Luckson in welcome address said “our hearts is heavy for the loss of the deceased”.

Earlier, Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri accompanied by his Deputy, Professor Keletapwa George Farauta, government officials, and associates, visited the residence of the deceased at 80 Housing Units, Yola, to sympathize with the bereaved family.

The deceased died in Abuja on October 8, 2025, after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife, five children, and several grandchildren.

Present at the funeral service includes David Barau, former Deputy Governor of Gongola state, Kobois Ari, Emmanuel Tsamdu, Engr Garus Satumari among other mourners.##
