Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has inaugurated a police outpost station in Kwakwa’ah Hong local government area to enhance protection of live and property of the citizenry.
Farauta during her speech, reiterated government determination to equip security agencies and deployment to every nooks and crannies of the state.
“Adamawa state government would ensure security personnels are properly equipped.
“Government would ensure security personnel are deployed to every nooks and crannies in the state”.
The Deputy Governor lauded federal government for ensure presence of all security agencies, adding that the outpost station would strengthen security in the host community and it’s environs.
Farauta, thanked the community the entire Hong community for their support, expressing government continuous commitment to ensure citizens sleep with their two eyes closed.
“Issue of security has been in the front banner of Gov Ahmadu Fintiri for people to sleep with two eyes closed”.
The Deputy Governor pleaded with the police personnel to ensure justice is served to all manner of people without fear or favour”.
Earlier, Commissioner of police, Morris Dankombo, saluted the chairman for constructing the facility, saying it would provide a shelter and conducive working environment for officers.
He reminded people that security is a collective responsibility and appealed for relevant information from the public in an effort to nib security problems in the bud.
The CP urged for upgrading of the station to divisional police headquarters.
In his remarks, the speaker Adamawa state house of assembly Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley said the state has witnessed total transformation in all areas of human endeavours, and security of lives and property remains the cardinal agenda of governor Fintiri led administration.
Such initiative, according to him, is in line with the mandate of government to provide security, even as he reiterated commitment to continue initiating laws that have a direct impact on masses.
His Royal Majesty Tol Huba Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako acknowledged the impactful leadership championed by governor Fintiri in the state and pledged the loyalty of Hong community for more developmental strides.
He advocated the need for his subjects to reciprocate the efforts of government by being law-abiding and peacemakers.
The chairman, Hong local government area Inuwa Usman Wa’aganda, disclosed that the establishment of police station in Kwakwa’ah becomes imperative in view of the growing population and security concerns in the area.
He appreciated Governor Fintiri’s transformative drive in the state.
