Adamawa Dep Gov Decorates Six Police Officers With New Ranks

Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has decorated six newly promoted police officers attached to her office with their various ranks

Speaking while decorating the officers in her office on Monday, Farauta urged to put in their best in th charge of their duties.

She pointed out that, whom much is given, much is expected, adding their elevation is well deserved.

Those decorated to their next ranks are; Bello Musa from Inspector to ASP, Isa Adamu from Sergeant to Inspector, Friday Usman from Sergeant to Inspector, Phillip Andrew from Sergeant to Inspector, Andrew Jonathan from Sergeant to Inspector, and Benjamin Mathias from Corporal to Sergeant.

Supol Evans Josiah, Chief Security Officer to the office of the deputy governor, tasked the decorated officers on professionalism and commitment to duty.

The officers thanked the deputy governor for the honour and reiterated commitment to duty.

Also, speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers Inspector, Friday Usman thanked the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun over the elevation and promise to put in their best.

Usman, added that the elevation would spur them to do their primary functions as stipulated by the law.

He equally appreciated the deputy governor for finding time to decorate them and working under her office.
