The Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has called on citizens to appreciate the multi-sectoral development brought by the administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and continue to pray for more successes.
She made the call during a thanksgiving service held at Government House Chapel on Sunday in commemoration of the first two years of the second term of Governor Fintiri, organised in appreciating God for preserving the Fintiri-led administration which is now six years old.
Worshippers used the opportunity to praise God for the successful journey of the Fintiri administration, thanking the Almighty for protection, wisdom and initiatives that led to the ongoing transformation in the state.
Farauta called on people of the state to rally support and continue in particular to pray for peace and progress in the remaining two years of the administration.
Reverend Habila Yunusa who presided over the service, centered his message on the lessons taught in the book of Colossians chapter 3 verse 23 that emphasizes the spiritual benefits attached to doing things for the sake of God, saying there is hidden way to success in doing things for the sake of the Lord.
Commissioners, among other high ranking government officials attended the church service.
